RareCloud Object Storage: 1 TB S3 Storage for €10/Month

RareCloud has launched its S3-compatible Object Storage, and the pricing is refreshingly simple: 1 TB of storage for €10 a month. Downloads are free up to the volume you store, there is no fee per request, and your buckets can live in 16 regions, including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris and Milan. It is a practical fit for off-site VPS backups, app uploads and media, logs and datasets, all managed from the same account as your servers.

• 1 TB included for a flat €10/month. Storage above 1 TB costs €0.01 per GB per month.
• Free downloads up to the amount you store each month, then €0.01 per GB.
• No request fees. Upload, list and read as often as your app needs. There is also no fee per bucket or per key.
• Hourly billing, capped at €10 a month. Delete your last bucket and the fee pauses until you create another.
• Keep your tools. Works with the AWS CLI, rclone, restic, s3cmd, Cyberduck and the AWS SDKs. Just change the endpoint.

Here is how the free download allowance works: store 500 GB, download 800 GB in the month, and you pay for the extra 300 GB at €0.01 per GB, so €3 on top of the base fee, or €13 in total. Prices exclude VAT, and deleted objects can keep counting toward stored data for up to 90 days.
